need an a/c liquid line

Anybody have a liquid line off of a 1979 f150 they'd be willing to part with?

It'll have to have that same fitting on the one side with a 90° elbow on the other side

My local NAPA store makes lines, they cut off your fittings, replace the line and crimp your fittings back on. You could even make it a little longer or shorter to help you route it.

I went to a Napa yesterday but they told me they couldn't do it because of the one fitting. They couldn't even just replace the bad spot in the line because according to the guy his line there was bigger so he couldn't clamp it to the smaller old line

The original air one is it I believe. I can probably make it work if it's not and I can't find one anywhere else

It's a direct replacement. They delete the sight glass and the QD fitting so it won't pass for a concourse restoration, but it'll work fine as-is.

We have a place here in Austin called "Austin Rebuilders" that does a/c hoses exclusively. Maybe you have such a place where you live too?

If we do I don't know what it's called or where to find it.

Where in Texas are you, Fordguy? If you aren't too far from Brady, the NAPA there can make your line. Give 'em a call. It's listed as Moore's Automotive. 325-597-3421. If you call them talk to Alan (owner) or Brandon (he's been there for fifteen years or so). You would be surprised at what they keep on hand for our rigs. I buy nearly all my parts from them.
