Strange shifting E4OD

Howdy guys, I'm a newbie to the forum and the E4OD.

I'm having a strange shifting issue with my new to me E350 motorhome that has the 460 and E4OD. I'll try to make it short and to the point:
-From a dead stop seems as though I'm in 2nd gear...from there on it seems to be shifting too early until you get up to 35-40 and then all seems normal....down shifts on hills or to pass.
-If I put it into 1st manually on the shifter, it builds pressure....acts as though first and reverse are fighting each other though.
-Reverse works perfect.

What I've tested: Good
-12 volts to the tranni confirmed.
-Resistance tests for the solenoids SS1, SS2, TCC, and CCS all ohmed out at 20.5

Not so good:
-small amount of trans fluid inside the electrical plug in at the tranny.
-Open/no resistance at EPC/power pins....spec 4.0-6.5

Assuming from the small leak at the plug and the open circuit that the solenoid pack needs replacing....does this match the shifting issues I'm having based on your guys' vast knowledge???

Thanks in advance!

Read the codes. That's the best way to start.

Do you have an open (infinite resistance) or no resistance at the EPC? Those are total opposites. You can't have both, it's impossible.

Sorry bout that....it is open

We tried to read the codes a while back, but had no luck....The shop my buddy owns had just got a new scanner and he wasn't quite up to speed on using it at that point. Will try to get back down there.

As far as the fluid inside the female side of the electrical connector.....is that a problem that requires solenoid pack replacement or is there a replaceable o-ring???
