E4OD reverse and manual 2nd problem
Hi!
I have recently rebuilt my e4od (90 f250 idi 4x4) because i lost the fluid and burned the forward clutch pack. I installed the transgo HD tugger shift kit. Now i have a severe delay in reverse and D2. I never had that before, when you put it in gear nothing happens. You have to bring it up to about 1800 rpm and then it takes off. It doesnt slip, just grabs and goes. If i let the rpms drop it disengages again. Same symptoms in both gears. Automatic 2nd works just fine, transmission shifts great and it has enough fluid. What could be the problem ?
