HVAC Problem

My controls for the heat and cooling are all messed up. The fan control works fine, and the temperature control as well. The air flow switch on the other hand is all messed up. When you turn the switch you need to pay close attention to were the flow comes out,if you put the switch to the off position it stays on. Thanks for any help you all can give me !!!!!!!!!

the air flow is controlled by 3-4 vacuum cylinders... one can stick or break... also motor vacuum goes thru the control **** switch and it can leak vacuum from one port to another and get odd things happening............ will post a vacuum schematic... check you selector and which cylinders are working, or if its random.

I tried to 'add to your reputation' but for some reason I just get the popup:

the "electric" or dual climate control is only slightly different... the basic concept is the same... what type problems are you seeing ?
