SES light, low power, shakes...Help
Went on vacations so the truck sat for a week. We had some really heavy rain while gone. Started fine but I thought it seemed a little more sluggish than normal on my way to work. Got off work and it started fine but I noticed a light shake while idling. SEA light was on and it ran like carp all the way home. Low power and it had a shake to it especially under load. I got home and scanned codes with torque pro. No codes showed but the oil was pretty low. Added some oil and it didn't resolve the problem. I'm sure it could be a bunch of different things but thought I'd see what you guys think. It was running fine the day before vacation. 2000 f250 4x4. Help please!

I'm thinking some of the possible causes could be, uvch, icp sensor ( just changed last month), bad fuel, injector orings, or injectors failing. I can collect data with torque pro if it will help with diagnosis. I just don't really know where to start. Wish I had AE or a good code reader.

Sounds like UVCH. You can do some reading for diagnostics with a meter here. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/8...ck-shakes.html

Okay, just ohm tested the nine pine connector and it failed. Pulled the valve cover and the connector inside was almost fully disconnected. I hooked it back up and all the injector pins check good except I get a reading of about 51 on the drivers side first injector pin from the front. What does that indicate? Bad injector? Possibly the pin on the connection on the gasket?

I'm going to go ahead and replace the valve cover gasket and the uvch. Are there any manufactures to stay away from? Where is a good place to purchase these parts. I'm a big fan of riffraff so I'll be checking there.
I'm not sure if this will fix the 51 ohm reading on that one pin or not. Should I test each injector solenoid? I need to get the old girl back on the road ASAP.

get your oem harnesses and gaskets from RR. Read a couple of threads were Dorman was used and had problems.
Did you see any burnt pins? Check the engine side as well. check a couple of injectors with the harness disconnected including the bad one and compare. this will tell you if it's injector or harness.

I ended up going with the dorman gasket/harness. I know, I know....but I had to get the truck back on the road so I couldn't wait for parts to ship. I have an international dealer here in town as well but they aren't open until Monday. I'm going to go ahead and order the parts from riffraff for the passenger side as it isn't completely screwed up yet.
I tested the injectors and they all checked out. Hooked up the new harness and checked again. Got it all back together and this truck hasn't idled this smooth since I bought it. I had no ideas but this was a problem before it became so apparent.
If it weren't for this forum, my wallet would be a he'll of a lot lighter. Thanks FTE!
I did use the dorman stuff knowing I may have to do this all over again before long. At least it's the drivers side. Tomorrow I'll give it a test drive. Right now though it's a well earned beer.
