Unhappy Service Engine light with no codes

Backstory, just replaced fuel injector cups last night and everything went well. I drove it around alot last night to clean it out abit and again nothing was wrong. I got into the truck this morning and started it up and the service engine light came on then went off in less than ten seconds. On my way to work about 15 min the light came on and off 20 times. When i got to work i tried to pull codes and there was none in the computer. I am stumped could it possibly be a loose wire on the UVC?

Could be a loose UVC. What code reader are you using?

Those autozone ones will not work. Get one that is compatible with Ford diesels.

Could be several things, considering how many connections you had unplugged. It probably will be simple once you figure out what is causing the SES. If the light comes on, a code is there. You just need to find some way to check it.

Not necessarily. I recently had a short in my main engine wiring harness that would flash the SES light because it was causing the PCM to try and reset when I hit a bump. Not even the ford house could pull a code off of it.

I'd start by double checking for any loose connections you were working around. If that doesn't work I'm sure someone here can help you out if you keep us up to date on what you've tried so far.
