I put a new 77 cab on my 79 frame. Under the dash, on the driverside wall, above the side vent and parking brake is a electrical box (red....ish in color and ithink 4 or 5 spade type terminal s. The wiring harness has a plug to plug into it. This is a air condition cab. What is the box and what is it for? Im thinkn something for the ac, the ac dont work as my old cab didnt have ac, the part of the ac i have is the cab parts, no engine parts of ac. Any idea?
Wipers work with it disconnected like im use to. Got high and low with washers. Never had the intermittent before, place to start playin tho, I'll check on it thanks
Im sorry, the box is green with 4 terminals and the wiring plug is red. The box is a rectangle and spade terminal s are in a strait line, wipers work with out being plugged into box
Must be seat belt alarm or something. Pull seat belt fuse from box under dash and i lost power to it. Hmm..... never seen dash light or anything for sest belt "alarm " go off before
I'm pretty sure it's the seat belt buzzer you are talking about. The one in my '77 decided to come back to life on me a few months back... It makes quite a racket.
