2002 Explorer no 4x4 lights and 4x4 does nothing

I have several posts on this but no answer fixes my problem. The 4x4 lights do not come on. I have check all fuses. I have replaced my module still nothing. I guess I could try another module but dam I am really at a dead end before I have to take it to Ford dealer and get hosed. Any suggestions would help thanks,

I have not worked on the 2002 EXP 4 x 4, but on the F150 there is a shift motor bolted to the side of the transmission transfer case.......... standard test is to remove the motor unit, set on the floor with the electrical plug attached, and try to operate from the dash ****.. If nothing, test for voltage on the wire to the motor. ....... should have voltage if all fuses were checked.

the 4 x 4 lights come on AFTER the motor stokes the arm inside the transfer case.. picture of the motor below from e-bay.
