cracking degas

Not sure about the hose pulling on it enough to crack it. there is plenty of slop in the hose. It didn't drop much when I took the bottle out. It also woundn't explain the cracks on the back and sides.
I will move the hose clamps forward.
The motor dosen't rock much when I press the throttle in drive.
With multiple cracks all over the tank, it seems like the plastic the tank is made of can't handle the pressure at the tempature that the coolant gets to. the ribs in the tank seem to be the weakest points as that is where it tends to crack.

Watched a program the other night where the mechanic stated that worm gear clamps are bad for any connection that has a rubber rose on a plastic nipple in the cooling system. They don't expand and contract with the temp. swings that a spring clamp will. The mechanic showed a plastic radiator inlet that was broken because of the worm gear clamp.

will loose some force when the rubber takes sets a grove from the clamp after
the first few heat/cooling cycles.
