15-20 psi mechanical fuel pump?

Hmm I hadn't thought about the effects of increased wear. I'll have to look into that some more
It was either summit or jegs had some listed for small block fords and a couple of chebby engines but nothing for the fe's. The look similar but its hard to tell differences without holding one in your hand.
The volume looked pretty good though, a 16psi pump for a 302 is listed at 225 gph for a holley pump on summit. I wonder if it could be retrofitted

Hmm thats interesting. Was it vapor locking and going lean? Were you running a lot of PSI? I'm only looking to get probably about 5-7 psi of boost pressure

It was boiling the fuel before it hit the carb. I think it was transfering too much heat through the pump into the gas. It was fine until the rehook and it would just sputter out. Now this was a N/A motor. SO it would be even worse with a turbo where you have to have the fuel. This was with the 140gph mech. pump
first hook.
Rehook in pull off.
