Help: identify/ideas to remove pipe

I have been working on an 88 F150 XLT lariat with an EFI 302.
I have tried working around the pipe circled in black for sometime, but now I really need it out of the way. While installing the valve cover the bolt circled in yellow busted. I could not get a good enough angle on which I think stressed it to the point of breaking. I need to drill it out but the pipe shown is in the way.
What is this part, how can I remove it. I have tried to remove it but cannot seem to loosen it. I fear i might crack my lower aluminium intake.

That horizontal pipe will unscrew from the vertical pipe, use some heat on the junction if you need to.

Next time remember that antiseize is your best friend when screwing steel or iron fittings into aluminum. And those valve cover bolts ? Wrist tight using a 1/4" drive ratchet and socket is all that's needed there.
