Y pipe help needed!

how would yall go about getting the up pipe and y pipe out? mine started leaking yesterday and i dont have alot of money to spend on it right now so i need to do it myself. its one of the things that i would rather pay someone to do but just dont have the money. whats the easiest way to pull it and put new one on?

Remove the turbo, and remove the clamp on the EGR cooler if its still there...

Remove nuts to the manifolds, and the whole thing will slide right out.

You can leave them together. It's a little squeeze to get it out but it will come. Move or remove the FICM too.

If you have the y-pipe bolts at the manifold loose or out and turbo out--about 30 seconds or less to pull the y-pipe and another 30 to put it back in....turbo reinstall time is on YOU--LOL. 3 hours should be more than sufficient. My crippled azz can do one almost that fast.

rdunagan i could not pull the Y pipe still connected to pass side pipe was just not enough room for it to come out I had to split the two then the Y pipe lifted right out. if you can do it I would like to hear how it went.
