Mine was the same way. Had to push real hard on the OFF button.

^^^^ When do you ever turn the cruise off? I've kinda forgotten there is an OFF button. I've always just tapped the brake or clutch pedal to disengage the cruise. Other vehicles I've owned, the cruise on/off was an SPST switch, not two momentaries. It was always in the ON position, because I would simply set it when I wanted to, and disengaged it with a pedal tap.

Keep in mind that every time you turn the key off you clear the abs codes. So you want to drive with the light on for a while then check the codes before you turn the key off.

Its not a very high tech computer

Not to derail but the later wheel has better buttons... And audio controls... That is what I did.

Yes... SD wheel... I put up a how to... You need an aftermarket stereo to make the radio controls work but its no hard at all
