Factory y-pipe

Does anyone have one that they'd be willing to sell?

I installed an aftermarket y-pipe, which I now regret doing. Saying that, I've kept my eye open and I've seen a few for sale on ebay. Might check there periodically until one pops up.

Which aftermarket pipe did you use? The only one's I'm able to find online are made by Walker and AP Exhaust.

I checked my local Ford dealer and they want $495..........and that's with a military discount.

My truck runs fine with it, but I've had no power or torque increase, no mileage difference that I can see, and I hear the flutter more with it. Not bad, but more.

The other day here in Idaho someone was selling his factory Y pipe for $20. It was on a facebook page. I will check and see if I can find it. If I have to I can buy it and ship it to you. It was about 40 miles from me.

Pictures off the ad.

My factory pipe has been cut up to make a custom exhaust which is now almost rusted through. My plan is to put the exhaust back to stock from the manifolds to the cat. From the cat back I will keep the Banks system I have.

Kenne Bell recommends keeping the exhaust stock, at least to the cat. I would have to agree because I've tried numerous setups and the more open I made the exhaust, the more low end power I would lose. The supercharger performs better with a little back pressure.

My truck is a 2001.

In 2 weeks or so I'll be swapping putting that 5star pipe on mine and you can have the section that gets cut out of mine for free if you want it. If you can find a bolt in one that''s affordable (I haven't looked) then I'll swap them out and you can have the whole thing
