Hey guys. I'm gonna put injector sleeves in tonight. How do I drain the coolant from the block?

 

Can I use the block heater plug in as my drain?

 

There are block drain plugs on either side of the block

 

If you can't get them out the block heater will work. When you do those cups pay extra attention to cleaning out those holes. There has been lots of people not prep the area good enough and the retaining compound doesn't seal properly.

 

Thanks guys. Yeah problem was the drivers side drain. Has an extension snapped off in it so I used the block heater. An thanks moose. I'm actually at that step right now! Cleaning it off with a screw driver and a vacuum work? Not exactly a lot of other options
