I have a borg warner 4407 tcase that came what im assuming was a 460 or 7.3, correct me if im wrong ... My question is is there any way that i could use that transfer case on my truck ... Are the bolt patterns the same and the shaft splines ... Any help is appreciated ... THANKS !!!

It'll bolt to your trans, but you'll need driveshaft work. The rear yoke is fixed, so you'll either need a driveshaft from a truck that had the 4407 originally or modify the shaft to mate the t case.

I'm not sure whether the front d shaft will need anything to work.

Like said above... the 4407 will bolt in place of the 1356.

BUT the rear driveshafts are different

1356 is a slip yoke
4407 is a fixed flange

and YES the shafts are different

Also the front yoke is different between a F250 and F350 so you have to know what it came out of

So with the shafts being different would I be able to take the one out of my 1356 and use it in the 4407 assuming its in good shape ? Or if I am unable to do that is there a way I can buy a shaft that would work for my tranny with the 4407?

You would need one from 4407 truck with the same wheel base and same trans

Gear619, if you are talking about the input shaft of the 4407 being the same as the 1356 and working with your trans, I believe they are the same. The driveshafts are different.
