reliable AFR guages, any suggestions?

I'm looking to acquire a AFR guage and would like to know if any are more desirable then others. I know a few of you all have one and am interested in your pros and con's. I'd like it to be digital rather then just a lean/rich light but I'm not married to that idea if its just overkill.
Thanks in advance,
Carlo

I have a narrow band 'light show' gauge and it suits my purpose but a wide band digital is necessary to do any actual productive tuning.

I've got a innovative digital one the full kit I accidentally received. I was told it was out of stock so I canceled the order and bought an aem duel gauge(vacuum and afr) and they both showed up Sat morning. I really liked the data logging and combinations that innovative has. Also they are on the cheaper side compared to the others.

However the aem is a duel gauge and for 30$ they'll send you a no weld bung kit.

I have the AEM as well. So far I have only used it for tuning idle circuit. I'm told it will work really well if I install it on the dash.

I've had good results using this AEM kit on multiple carbed vehicles. Yotas, Chebbys, two of my fords, etc.

That's a great price too. I paid more than $200 for the same thing thru Jegs.

I have the PLX wideband in mine and really like it. My favorite feature is the visual graph for the AFR over time (about the last 20 seconds or so). Kind of like a heartrate monitor, so you can visually see spikes or bogs, instead of just watching numbers change.
I agree with some of the reviews that it's kind of hard to mount (need a gauge pod), but I'm a big fan of it. Had it for more than a year now.

I agree, the PLX is sharp. I'll have to start saving for it as my new AFR guage money has turned into my new radiator money.

Has anyone used one of the weldless bungs with the adhesive exhaust gasket and the 2 bolt c- clamp? I think it's from AEM.

Yes it's from aem and yes it's awesome.

2" to 3.5 I think it is. Just get a hole big enough and clamp! I've got a few days on it and no leaks yet

If nothing else, my brother bought one of the O2 bungs for $5 and a shop welded it in for $20 or so. Maybe $30. It's not a big expenditure to have it all set up right.
But I've heard the clamp on ones work well.

Been running the Innovate LC-1 on my megasquirt build for a while now and its great as well. Honestly I think everyone loves their wideband just because they finally have a wideband. I welded in the bung myself, not a big deal if you have a welder. Wiring was pretty simple as well, communicates with megasquirt flawlessly.

Can you post more info on the megasquirt build? That would be really cool info to have around.

Lots of truth to that.
