Gauge Mount
Has anyone ever mounted a gauge in the little blank panel on the right side of the steering wheel (next to the idiot light cluster)? I've seen people mount switches there but I'm thinking of putting my pyrometer in there. Its the only gauge I've got and I want a semi-smooth looking install. Will it work?

Ive mounted a guage there it works pretty good the guage I have is a little big so it doesn't fit down inside just perfect but looks good otherwise. I better get outside and get some chores done but I ll post a pic later

The pic was to show the location of the TW chip switch and the LED's for the TC and GP's so I didn't care about the glare on the gauge.
The gauge is a Westach dual temp that I used to monitor H2O and WVO temps.
Here's another poor picture of it:

Westach makes some really nice combination gauges
I've been using this one for the past several years:
And back when I was using the boost gauge in the dash I used this:
Westach has lots of combinations, duals and triples

Bluemule thanks posting the nice pic, mine mounts up the same way with the edge hanging over a little. I checked the price out and they dont give those guages away do they.

They sure the hell dont. I'm sure you could find a square peg to fit that square hole. instead of trying to put a round peg in the square hole.

What size are those gauges you put in there? I got a 2 1/16 but it doesn't quite look like it'll fit.
