Question on heavy duty payload pkg

I bought a 2014 150 supercab with the heavy duty payload package and long bed with plans to put a cabover on it. However.....now I'm not sure it will handle a cabover. So what is the consensus on what weight can be safely put on this thing *without* modifications? It has a grand total of 75 miles on it at this point so I am not that interested in throwing more money at it. I haven't really been able to find much online about this. The cabover I want says it was "designed" for a half ton truck but weighs over a ton dry.

There's a yellow and white sticker, containing your payload for your truck, on the driver's door jamb. It'll show your occupancy (5 or 6) and your payload...probably near 2,000lbs depending on your config. That's the number you cannot legally exceed. I'll say it again...that you cannot legally exceed.

To elaborate on what MCDavis said, there are no modifications that will LEGALLY raise that number.

I have a 2014 scab STX,Can I put front mud flaps on it without hitting my step bar??
Looks like a tight fit. If I don't put the flaps on will I have to worry about rust??

Whisky Tango Foxtrot?
How does this have anything to do with the price of rice in China?

My sticker says 2618 pounds with tire pressures of 55/60. it has the heavy duty payload package. So my 2100# cab-over should be ok.

Next question: the truck came with some wires and plugs inside a plastic bag that said directions for trailer electrical control. Since it has the hitch and the seven-wire plug already, I'm assuming this is an electric brake controller. My trailer does have electric brakes (will not have the cab-over until next summer due to ordering time, so will keep my trailer for this summer.) I was looking for a youtube how-to-do-it for a 2014 F150 but did not find anything. Anyone know of a good how-to video?

I'm pretty sure the plug in for trailer brakes is readily visible under the dash. At least the one on my 2011 was.
