Travlnman what a nice truck you got there. Having had an early 4.6 powered truck myself I know I think that 3.7 will suit you just fine.

Stout little engine , especially with the 3.73 rear and 6spd auto ! If Ford had kept the Ranger, with this engine and a 6spd manual....the only problem would have been keeping up with demand.

One week old today and already has over 1000 miles. First tank avg was 17.5, second was 18.6, both times the computer was within .2 of hand calculation. The first tank, of course was not broken in...and had a few trips to the 7k redline , just to hear that little engine sing.

BTW, the backup lights still suck, considering LED replacements or supplemental lights. :/
