My new '14 STX 4x4, 3.7V6 3.73 limited slip rear. Love this little engine ! Rated at 50hp more than the 4,62v I traded, the 6spd trans keeps it in the sweet spot with little effort. Now....what to do to it first...??
Good looking little beast! I'd get some mud flaps and a bed liner in there. Not sure where you live and how harsh winter is for you but my Ohio senses say to prevent road grime and salt to kick up into the goodies of the underbody and wheel well.
That's always the truth. So many options, but still a number you're willing to spend.
To throw my 2 cents in on a cover, I have the Bak Flip F1 and it's great. They aren't cheap, but definitely worth it if you're looking for something that is heavy duty and still allows you to use about 99% of your bed just by flipping back the panels.
Nice truck, looks great in white. I have the BedTred Pro liner in my truck, it looks like a spray in but it's a drop in. I've gotten excellent service out of it so far and it was cheaper than a spray in.
I also have the BacFlip cover, mines the G2. Had it on my last truck, liked it enough to get it on this one. I was shopping for the F1 but found a G2 on eBay at a significant savings.
I've had those same tires on a couple trucks. They are not exciting tires however they do look nice and get the job done. Plus they are nice riding tires. We had one of the worst snow winters in a long time last year & I was never close to getting stuck. Mine last set started getting noisy around 50,000 miles so I replaced them.
Tires ride really well. Unfortunately, in the mountains where I live, you are lucky to get 40-50k out of any tire. We shall see how they wear, but Goodyears are generally too high $ for me ...
