water/ electric damage.....help!

I have a 2001 f250 5.4 triton. My cb antenna hole leaked water in cab, soaked my fuse block. Horn goes on and off, radio turns on without key in ignition, truck only starts when key is on and I bridge solenoid, and number 4 coil is not firering. I have let truck dry out, fixed the leak. Everything is bad to normal except starting issue and coil issue. Any ideas?

Are the coil and solenoid themselves working? Is there any sort of fuse or link burned out?

Yes, three new solenoids, and two brand new coil. Both are new.

You might try some contact cleaner on the fuse block terminals. Pull each fuse one at a time to clean the terminals.

Also did you pull every fuse and relay to check the terminals for oxides?

Its quite possible that you have some water logged relays that may need to be replaced.

As noted above, I would remove each fuse and use some very light emery cloth on the fuse pins itself if required and electrical contact cleaner spray with a dental pick if needed in the fuse block. Of course, remove power by disconnecting the battery before doing anything electrical in nature

Might be corrosion inside the fusebox.
