banks intake o-ring napa number?



this is what happens when you try and use a Chevy intake gasket, on a turbo.
Anybody got a store number? for the right o-ring

with the 110 ip is was still making 14psi of boost, I found this when I was almost done with putting a stock ip back in because I thought the 110 was too much for the banks turbo

Banks still sells parts for the Sidewinder kit. Here's the owners manual:

If you're talking about the gasket that sits at the intake opening, it is item 57, part number 93153. I know it's still available because I bought one a few months ago.

I've had great luck using a square cut Viton oring from McMaster-Carr. Works much better and is oil resistant. If memory serves I got one 3/16" thick to take up any irregularities in the intake and compress a little for a tight seal. No boost leaks on my setup at all at 12-15 psi.

I'm leaving Tuesday so I don't have time to get one from Banks, that's my problem

Use another one and keep your foot out of it until you get a better one? Tennis ball under the pedal...

Did you clamp the intake on real hard? Havent had trouble with mine yet but ive only see up to 7 psi sofar

I found one at the shop that rebuilds hydraulic cylinders for me, keeping your foot out of it doesn't work so well when pulling a trailer

i havnt had trouble with my felt gasket and 8-10 psi but a rubber one would be nice maybe someday soon

I Got a 5" id by 3/16 and it doesn't quite fit under the banks hat, but it sealed
