The Best P/S Unit

this is turning into quite the helpful bit of info.
didn't quite understand the "redneck mod" on the P/S pump though. with a given volume exchange at a relatively constant rate...enlarging the orifice should decrease the pressure. same reason when main bearings get excessively worn, we start to lose oil pressure. i could see maybe an "easier" flow rate on the pump itself without operating towards the top end of its pressure range. it might help it last longer...then again, it might propagate cavitation prematurely also. who knows?

With the v belts you won't have any issue with reverse rotation. If you are going to run an efan, you will need twin v belts.
