I've replaced fuel tank, fuel pump, fuel filter. Truck still won't start without using starter fluid. Runs fine after starting. Any ideal what to change next to fix problem?

How old is your fuel? Have you checked ignition timing? Does this truck still have it's OEM EFI setup?

Does this only happen when it's cold, the engine I mean? If you go to the store to get a six-pack, does it start back up when you come out? Or do you have to use starting fluid always?

Do you hear the pump run when you turn the key to "on"?

OK, try this, cycle the key a few times off and on, leaving it in the on position for at least 2 secs. Do this about 5 times and then try to start it. If it starts up, then you are losing residual pressure on the line and your pump is not strong enough to pump it up while cranking.
