Fuel or Ignition Problems?
I am new to this mechanic stuff. I have an EFI. I was on the way home with an almost empty tank when she stopped running went & got gas still wouldnt start. Got her towed home tried to start & she cranks & when I prime she starts but wouldnt stay started. I removed the hoses from the fuel pump ran longer hoses from the fuel sending unit into an empty gas can cranked her & nothing in the can so I assumed fuel pump. Gas tank was rusting from the inside out so a new fuel sender, fuel pump & tank later hooked it all up nothing same symptoms as before still prime start no continous run. Like I said Im new to this but if she starts with priming then all spark is good & it must be fuel right. I would appreciate any help ple
