wouldn't start and was acting weird before hand, had a diesel mechanic listen to what i was talking bout so he troubleshooted it and came up with that. But I cant get a hold of him now, he's up in alaska for a bit for work...of course.. and Im def no mechanic....

How did you determine the FICM was Bad???
This is true ? need to get a some sort of scan gauge to read live data

Still have an EGR Valve??Clean it in awhile??

Put fuel filters on the list
good point too Benny get the EGR Valve pulled most likely its gummed up by soot

Just some food for thought, I had similar symptoms with fuel filters that were only 6,000 miles old and they were bad. Might not be a bad idea to change them out before you spend more money on a more expensive gamble.
