1994 F-250 7.3L Wont Start

I was driving the other day when the check engine light came on and truck lost power. Pulled over restarted truck and drove to my destination. Left the truck at idle for around 30 mins and got back in and took off and did the same thing! Now the truck will start for a few seconds then check engine comes on and dies (acts like fuel was shut off to it). Replaced ICP Sensor and did not fix the problem the truck will crank and smoke out the shop but even while cranking the check engine light comes on and wont let truck start! Help please!

I would really recommend getting the codes from the engine before trying anything else. Codes can point you in the right direction instead of stabbing at it.

Sounds like a fuel problem could.be a.weak fuel pump or it coulx be a pressure regulator. Check the fuel filter. Try to crank it for.a few.seconds then take your fuel filter out and see how much fuel you have in the.fuel bowl

Fuel problem won't throw a code. Have you checked the valve cover wiring connections?

Are you saying the problem won't be fuel related because the CEL came on?

No, I'm just saying that a fuel problem won't set the cel. The vc plugs are a free thing to check, and a possibilty here, so I mentioned them.

It only takes 20psi of fuel pressure to start these trucks.
