hi i found a ford f250 with a 429 is that the same as the 429 in the cobra

What cobra? If your talking about teh shelby cobra, that's a 427 not a 429.

If your talking is it a cobra jet motor, then you have to check head casting numbers. anything but D0OE-R is NOT a cobra jet engine.

Most likely just a standard passenger car 429. No matter what it is, it's not original.
