Looking For a Couple of Parts

I should be shooting paint on my Crew Cab (FINALLY) tomorrow. I really need to get this thing back on the road soon as it's my only heavy-haul rig. I'm having trouble finding a couple of parts.

Dennis Carpenter had nearly everything I needed, except these items: sending unit for the saddle-mount fuel tank and the extensions in the parking brake cables. One of Texas new requirements for vehicle inspection is a working parking brake, so I really need those.

Anybody know where to send me for these?

Is that the same fuel sender that would be used in a 75 F250 supercab 2wd for the midship fuel tank? Sorry for sorta hijacking.

No worries on the hijack.
No, it's a different tank and sending unit.
Fuel level sender
74-76 F100-350 Supercab before s/n C00,000
D4TZ-9275-A replaced by D7TZ-9275-C
Marked D0TF-9275-B used with mid-ship tank

Unfortunately I couldn't locate any dealer or obsolete supplier that had either one.

Many thanks, Mike and HIO. I had forgotten about Blue Oval Dismantlers. I've got them bookmarked now.

Is the fuel sending unit defective, or is it this little charmer? COAZ-9202-B .. Fuel Sending Unit Float / Available from Ford.

The float is made from two pieces of copper soldered together. Solder breaks down, gas seeps in, float settles to the bottom of the tank.

Applications: ALL 1957/79 Passenger Cars/F100/350's, 1961/79 Econolines & 1966/79 Bronco's / MSRP: $15.94 // FTE sponsor tousleyfordparts.com price: $10.52.

Not sure exactly what's wrong with it, but figured I'd at least try to locate a new one if I need it. I'll tear it down soon and see.

I have the p/n right but went back to the wrong line in the parts catalog when I got the ID numbers.

Thanks again, guys. Got my parts ordered. You can scratch the sending unit in SC off the list.
