Trying to help my buddy with his 6.4. Hes had one rad installed by a stealership already. The TSB refers to a venturi tee needing installing if the build date is before 5/2008...his is 09/2007details? what to look for to check wether it needs this Venturi tee? Also what is the link to the thermostats and radiator leaks, where are they and why are there 2 (two???!!)

Mine is a job 1. Noticed about 3k miles ago I had a small leak at the bottom.
The leak is intermittent. When it does leak it is about a table spoon worth. Riding it out for now since I am out of warranty and deleted about a year ago.
Has anyone thought about repairing the radiator like the old days rather than replace. The radiator from ford is like $800

Do any of you still have the bad ones that you have had replaced? I would gladly pay for one, or two, as well as shipping and for your time.
I tossed mine in the trash once I replaced them using NAPA's OEM white-ended replacement hose. After seeing the TSB stating if you have a failed hose, or signs thereof, the radiator replacement falls under the 100k warranty, I called my local dealership. My service guy there told me to just bring him my old hose and he would get the radiator replaced under the TSB using pics of the hose i replaced. So, I need a bad hose to take in w the truck since I trashed mine like a moron.
thanks in advance,
ryan
