I know is or has been a much discussed issue but thought I would reach for some ideas.
2008 F 350 KR with 6.4
Truck has 53,252 miles on it.
I now have the radiator leak that was apparently a chronic problem in the 08's resulting in ford replacing radiator, hoses, thermostats, extended warrienties etc.
I have talked with both dealers close to me including the one I bought the truck from.
The one who has it now just says won't consider any vehicles over 7 years old and disregarded the low mileage, said to call ford customer service. Did so and was told the same. Asked how to escalate up, was told I had the answer from Ford.... You would think they would honor due to fact they would be replacing same parts ( radiator and thermostat s ) that they know were defective in 08.
Any thoughts or experience of another dept. to contact at FMC?
I had a lower radiator hosed replaced under warranty, and there was also a tsb. I just had my upper radiator hose replaced last week. I had to pay for that one. I bought my truck June 2007. No longer under warranty. I have 51,000 miles on it. I don't expect ford to cover anything out of warranty. There was a time limit to get recalls fixed.
