Try monkey fingers? My white hose was bad also so I cut it back to a good section in the loom and ran rubber to the actuator. I believe that actuator is for max air/recirc

That plastic vac line is real brittle, esp. what's been under a hot/cold hood for years. Either patch in regular rubber vac hose or splice with heat shrink tubing.

You could remove the booster, take the grommet out of the hole for the check valve, and just see if that cap falls out. Otherwise, maybe a shop vac...

Never heard of monkey fingers. Sounds pretty handy though.

Yeah it's so brittle that I taped up the hole but evidently the boost in vac busted some more pieces of that line. I didn't think about heat shrink. I'll probably just use the rubber vac though because so much of it is bad.

Yeah. Looks like I'll pull the booster and shake it around to get it to fall near the hole.

Actually if you compare your pic with mine, I only cut part of the white line and match with the original rubber hose.

Lol! Yeah, I suppose that's an option too.

I think I've got this one in the books. We'll see though.

For now I just wrapped the AC hard line with electric tape and it seems to be holding fine. I got the plug out that I dropped in the booster. Pulled the booster and wiggled it around upside down til I could grab the plug with some pliers.

And the check valve and its grommet were most definitely bad. I couldn't build any vacuum into the booster with my gauge through either of them. New parts from Ford and voila I can build up vacuum in the booster and hold it all day long. Now hopefully that's it for this issue for a while.

Thanks for all the help.
