Dang Door Chime

Just took delivery of my 2022 F350. Gets a Deweze bed Monday. Also have a 2019 F250. I freakin hate the door chime. I leave door open often while working. Any way to disable? Already disabled the seatbelts. TIA

You may be able to disable the door chime in Forscan but it will be hard to find any info out there with your truck being so new. You may just have to play with it. I believe it's in the BCM

When I get a new truck, That first day, I get Forscan out and change a bunch of stuff. The Door chime and the seat belts are two of those. I wear my seat belts. Just not crawling around a Job Site where I use the truck as my mobile office. Get ForScan, watch a couple Youtube Video on using it and you'll be good

Parallel or Pivot arms? I've had a couple of the old parallel beds and just can't warm up to them. What pump setup are you going to use? I've noticed a fair amount of 10 speed 6.7's out there using PTO driven pumps on Hydrabeds.

I have a 2019 F350 with a Hydrabed and the engine mounted pump, ordered it with a single alternator for that reason. No complaints so far, other than the fuel mileage and crappy mirrors.

Maybe you guys have an answer for me! I see the OP has a Lariat. Ordered a 22 Lariat 6.7 350 and want to put flatbed or Hydrabed on it. Dealer and shops with beds all say lots of problems with blind spot sensors- no way to just disable them without constant lights or messages on the dash. What is your experience or do you have a way around the problem? Like the idea of blind spot for safety. Found one flatbed online that used the original taillights ( a curved bumper piece) but can’t find it again. Seems Ford is really discouraging any alterations of their trucks. Dealer said they threaten or deny warranty coverage for seemingly totally unrelated changes.

No I didn’t. Want all the power this engine provides! I believe CC is off 100 hp and about 100 ft lbs torque.

Gotcha. We unroll 90% of ours, but I can drop rolls into rings with the HB grabbing them on the flats. Can also grab a ring with the arms, pick it up and place over a bale without leaving the cab - those new plastic rings are awesome for that.

You ever had a DewEze with the extendable arms? I always thought that was a pretty cool idea.

I'd call Hydrabed and ask them, personally. I spoke with their engineering dept before ordering my last truck so it could be spec'd out to best work with the bed I wanted - wonderful folks.
