4 wheel disc brakes? what Master cylinder?

I twisted the pinion of on my 9in on my 79 last week. So now its time to put my 14 bolt in!

I plan to run 4 wheel disc brakes! in the end once the swap is all done it will be 4 Chevy 2 5/16 calipers but for now I will still have my ford calipers up front.

My question is what master cylinder a porpoising valve do I need to try and find? any help would be great!

Also thinking about swapping to hydro boost brakes at the same time?

MC you have should work fine. Need adjustable prop. valve to dial in the balance between fron and rear.

The problem here is that the 78/79 master cylinder has a separate reservoir for the rear, and it is very small.
Those disc brakes will hold more fluid than the reservoir can provide.
IMO you should be running a MC made for rear disc brakes.

Any truck that has a diesel and rear disc brakes.
Some gassers have hydro boost too, if you want to go that route.
If not any F250/350 with rear disc brakes.

any of the mid 90's for trucks that came with 4 wheel disc..it will bolt right in..you can use a manual valve if you want..that way you adjust the stopping.

Its about time to swap the axle, I will be running 4 wheel disc at that point, what will happen If I don't change the master cylinder and the porpoising valve? funds are tight can't afford to do it all at once?

A whole lot of front stopping power and next to none in the rear is typical but then, as short as the wheelbase is on the Bronco it may be better off that way.
