Glowshift gauge pod does not fit

Glowshift gauge pod does not fit
The gauges that my mom got me for this coming christmas came in the other day. she wanted me to look at the gauges to make sure they were the right ones. the gauges look sweet. the problem is with the three gauge pod.
the pod does not fit well at all on the a-pillar.
the top of it were it goes across the windshield has a big gap and the corner joint there it not a good fit. the bottom of the pod gets pinched by the door when it shuts. the factory pillar seems to have a slight arc in it. he glowshift pod is lacking that and that is causing the issue. if i wanted to i could force it into position and fasten it to the truck, but in my mind it should not have a constant tension on it, which it will have if i force it.
i have heard that these pods do not fit the best. others have said they fit great. the ones that said they don't fit good said that they went to the autometer pod and it fit great in the truck but then some grinding work had to be one to fit the gauges into the holes.
what should i do?
i need to get this taken care of quickly.
thanks

i have the glowshift pod and 0 issues.
you do you know it doesn't replace the actual a pillar right? but simply goes on top of it.
you drill a hole in the a pillar somewhere.i went half way up to run your wires out.
it's a perfect fit (so dang close anyway lol) for the 9th gen trucks 92-96/obs 97.
nice gift! your mom has style.

interesting.you'll have to excuse my dusty interior being a chipper truck and all.
here's my latest.those red gauges didn't last.the LED's kept failing.two times each! im on the third set now,and had 'em ship green this time for a change.
fyi, lifetime guarantee doesn't mean you get a good product, just means you don't have to pay for replacements i guess lmao.they have been though,no shipping or anything.
i wouldn't recommend cyberdyne gauges to anyone.not worth the hassle.
anyway, shut me up and lets get on with it.
ok,look up top there.that doesn't match does it.i guess i never look up that high lol.but the rest seems to fit up fine? but being a work truck and all,im likely to be a lot less picky with stuff too lol.
or are you saying, you have nothing lined up anything at all,and it would just look silly or?
edit,
hey we can attach more than just 3 pics now.well another just for kicks then.
i even started her back up for ya,for a no flash pic lol.

I have a 92-97 glowshift pod in my 88. It doesn't fit the bottom without modifications. But the top fits fine.
Are you sure its the right year range pod, and for the right make (ford, not chevy or dodge). They make them for several trucks so double check the label. Its also possible it was incorrectly packaged so see if it looks like the one in the above pictures.

thanks for the great pics f250 . i have the right pod for my year truck. mabey i am just expecting "to good" of a fit for something like this. i will take some pics tomorrow morning and post them up. how flexible is this plastic? the biggest thing that i am concerned about is getting those nasty looking white stress marks that you get when you flex plastic to much. if i don't get that then i will just get a little rough with it and make it work.
