This week ends' project is the installation of gauges, including a triple gauge mount A pillar.
The instructions I have are somewhat vague thus the question, what is the trick to safely remove the existing A pillar to allow for measurements, hole drilling and all that other fun stuff ?
As always I do appreciate the help.
It should just pop off. It'll probably take a gentle tug or two, but it's just some clips holding it in. Start at the top and work your way down. There's either 3 or 4 clips. Once you fit the gauge mount over the A pillar, drill your holes for the plugs that hold it on pretty close to the edge. That will hide them better. Also, test fit your gauges in the pod. You may have to cut out a little of the a pillar, other than just the holes you drill to run wires through. I had to remove some extra material from the a pillar so the gauge would fit in there flush.
mine fit no problem... just paint and pop...used double sided 3m tape instead of drillin any holes, and my wires fit between the factory pillar and gauge mount....
thanks again jt, i had it installed bout an hour after i left...just got it painted yesterday...now i just gota do somethin bout them holes in the dash where the guages used to be......

You are quite welcome. Glad to hear it fit and the install went as smooth as my sticker application.
