Side pod gauges for dentsides

Hey guys, I have a 78 Ford F-150 and i was planning on buying this triple pod by Sunpro. Sunpro Triple Gauge Pod CP7549: Choose the best Gauge Pillar/Pod/Cluster at Advance Auto Parts

Now I talked to the guy on the phone because I wanted to make sure this would fit my truck and he said it would. But I am kind of doubting this because I know I saw a thread about how someone had to make their own mold for a pod for their gauges to go on the side pillar. I am just asking you guys if you think it would fit my truck because I do not want to buy it and it not end up fitting my truck. Thanks guys!!!

i thought rice burners are the only one that bought those. You have an awesome old style,man truck, keep it as one. Just messing with ya, i highly doubt that any company makes any that go right in. .

It is a generic universal part that takes "molding" to fit, per the description.

I'd be willing it would not fit without a bunch of work, and then might still not look right.

A "universal" part means it'll require modifications to fit your vehicle.

Unknowledgeable sales people will say almost anything to make a sale. It's a good thing you're showing skepticism.
