Nifty Solution

Overlanding, camping, RV'ing, and whatever else you want to call getting out and enjoying the great outdoors has quickly become incredibly popular amid the pandemic. And that has sent interest in vehicles capable of doubling as temporary homes soaring as well. Now, a company called Geo-Cab is offering a pretty nifty solution for anyone that doesn't want to tow around a big camper, with more than one designed to fit neatly in the bed of Ford trucks.

Different Strokes

Geo-Cab doesn't necessarily make campers specifically for individual makes and models, but they are designed to fit a broad array of vehicles. Its lineup includes the carbon fiber Badger ST, LT, LR, and XT, each sized differently to fit different sized vehicles. The ST, for example, will fit the new Ford Bronco and sleeps up to three people, weighs just over 1,000 pounds, and features a starting price of around $129,000.

Bigger Offering

Move up to the LT, which retails for $162,000, and you can fit your Ford Ranger with a pretty awesome camper that weighs just 1,157 pounds. The Badger LT sleeps up to four people and, like every other Geo-Cab offering, has a bathroom, kitchen, and everything else you need for a weekend of luxurious camping.

Sleeker Solution

Pricing for the Badger LR is yet to be determined, but it's a sleeker solution for Ranger owners as well as the Ford F-150 that's slightly larger than the LR for more interior space. The LR is currently undergoing development, however, so there aren't a ton of details available just yet.

Big Boy

Finally, we have the top dog Badger XT, which starts out at $236,000 and sleeps up to five. It's designed to fit in the bed of everything from the F-150 to the Ford Super Duty range of pickups up to the big old F-550, which is a combo that's already proven to be quite popular among overlanders flush with cash.

Off the Grid Fun

No matter which Geo-Cab you go with, each offers a full array of amenities that you'd find in a normal camper. That includes beds, kitchens, bathrooms, couches, and more. Couple that with a vehicle designed to go anywhere, and you've got a recipe for some serious fun off the grid.
