ROUSH Has a Ranger

We've been accustomed to the brilliant work of ROUSH with their takes on the Mustang through the years. Now, another Ford product that has received the ROUSH treatment is the Ranger pickup truck. The small truck provides a great amount of utility and practicality, while also being the more economical choice in many respects than the larger F-150.

An Alternative to the Raptor Ranger

And since the newest iteration of the Ranger was introduced, Ford loyalists were clamoring for the more capable "Raptor" version. And while Ford eventually created a Raptor Ranger, sadly for us in the United States, we haven't seen them on dealer lots just yet. Some reports suggest that could change soon. But in the meantime, ROUSH is offering their take on the pickup, improving it in every imaginable way.

Exterior Upgrades

On the outside, the Ranger receives a number of upgrades. The ROUSH touches don't just give the truck a more aggressive look. They also provide for added off-road capability. The suspension has been improved with ROUSH/FOX coilovers featuring 2 inches of lift. And the Ranger rides on 32-inch tires, which have plenty of room to play underneath the custom fender flares. Other exterior mods include custom LED headlights and a new grille with ROUSH badging.

Optional Touches

The custom exterior elements give the pickup a powerful stance. And ROUSH has also incorporated a dual-tip cat-back exhaust system that brings a more angry exhaust note, while also adding a bit of grunt to the 2.3-liter EcoBoost motor. ROUSH also offers optional features such as a graphics pack, red tow hook, fender vents, ROUSH Chase Rack with dual Rigid light bars, an off-road utility kit, and a locking vault for the center console.

Improved Interior

The ROUSH upgrades continue on into the cabin. The more capable Ranger also receives a more comfortable interior space with the help of custom leather seats with ROUSH embroidered headrests. ROUSH badging can be found in several other locations within the cabin, including in the custom gauge cluster. The price of admission for these ROUSH Rangers is $12,750 above the truck's MSRP.
