5 Rad '80s Ford Truck Time Capsules

1. 1982 Bronco

Starting our list of rad rides today is this absolutely gorgeous 1982 Bronco. This clean truck only showed 24K miles on the odometer at the time it was featured here on Ford-Trucks.com. The Big Bronco was sold at a Mecum auction.

2. 1988 F-150

The fact that a truck like this 1988 F-150 even exists is truly amazing. This old Ford looks as though it just came off the dealer lot. At the time this truck was featured a couple of years ago, it was said to have been driven a total of 41,000 miles.

But the great care that the previous owner has taken of the truck makes it look far less used than 41K. If you're as big of a fan of the '80s style as we are, then you certainly appreciate the boxy aesthetics and the two-tone goodness of this beauty.

3. 1985 F-350

And that brings us to this wonderful brute. This flawless F-350 is as great of a time capsule as one can find. Few vehicles scream the 1980s louder than this beige and brown two-tone dually.

A close inspection of the truck will show you just easy its life has been. It appears it has been baby'ed through the entirety of the 24K miles it had been driven when it was featured on FTE.

4. 1985 F-150

And that brings us to this fiery red piece of the 1980s. There isn't much of a known backstory for this insanely low-mile F-150. All we have to go by is the data provided in the Mecum auction listing and the detailed photos.

The mere 4,000 miles on the odometer indicates that we're basically talking about a new car here. Which makes this 1985 truck the definition of a time capsule.

5. 1986 F-150

And finally, rounding off our list is this cool black 1986 F-150. This one may not be stock, but it still carries the powerful spirit of the '80s. The car has been kept predominantly untouched, to preserve its original feel. The only upgrade is in the stance department, in the form of a 4" lift kit and those big off-road tires.

The extensive collection of photos show the impeccable condition that this old truck is in. At the time of the original feature back in June, this truck was listed as having only 28K original miles on it.
