Bullnose Beauty

Pickups from the '80s aren't exactly rare these days, but most of the ones you see have obviously been used, you know, for truck stuff. That doesn't apply to this insanely gorgeous 1986 Ford F-150 we spotted over at Vanguard Auto Sales, however. With just over 28k original miles and looking like a polished showpiece, it's easily one of the nicest Bullnose Fords we've ever laid eyes on.

Setting the Benchmark

Things remain mostly stock on the body of this F-150, with all of the original chrome and trim intact. Which is pretty much the way we like 'em. All of that chrome also looks like brand new, as does the perfectly shiny and seemingly flaw-free black paint. If you were looking for benchmark '86, this seems to be a great candidate.

Proper Four-Wheeler

Of course, this pickup has also been treated to a 4" lift that gives it the proper stance. It rolls on a set of 15" polished aluminum wheels that fit the look nicely, and they're wrapped in equally attractive BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A Tires. It's a great combination for a great truck and makes it look like a proper four-wheeler.

Stock and Beautiful

Moving inside, you'll undoubtedly notice that the interior of this F-150 looks every bit as pristine as the exterior. The red fabric matches the outside perfectly, and everything here is essentially stock, even the radio. But it's like they say - if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Original Components

The same goes for the pristine engine bay, which houses the original, factory fuel-injected 302 cubic-inch V8. The engine is backed up by a 4-Speed automatic transmission, which sends power to an 8.8" rear axle out back and a Dana 44 unit up front when you kick it into four-wheel-drive.

Incredibly Clean

There are plenty of other goodies present on this F-150 as well, including power steering, power brakes with front discs, air conditioning, and tilt steering. And if you take a peek underneath, you'll also notice one of the most pristine undercarriages you'll ever see. Clearly, this thing is too clean to go mudding in.

Perfect Combination

It all adds up to what is easily one of the nicest Bullnose Ford trucks we've ever seen. And one that's certainly a contender for the top spot. With just the right mix of mods thrown in with what is essentially a brand new vintage pickup, this is a combination that's simply hard to beat.
