Time Capsule

As much as we drive/use/abuse our trucks, we have no idea how a few manage to slip through the cracks and pop up 20-30 years later, looking like they just rolled off the showroom floor. But that's certainly the case with this amazing 1982 Ford Bronco we spotted over at Mecum Auctions.

Quintessential '80s

Broncos from this generation might lag behind their predecessors in terms of popularity, but we'd be more than proud to drive this thing anywhere. It's quite simply a quintessential '80s ride in every way.

Highly Optioned

From the brown and tan two-tone paint to those classic "wagon" wheels, it just didn't get any cooler than this back in 1982. And this amazing XLT Lariat Bronco is optioned about as highly as it could possibly be, too.

Untouched

As pristine as the exterior of this Bronco is, the interior might be even better. There are zero signs that anyone's ever sat in this thing, let alone sipped a drink or ate a cheeseburger in there.

Fully Fitted

Pretty much every option you could get in 1982 is present in here too, including power windows and locks, air conditioning, and power steering and brakes.

Signs of Age?

If there are signs of age anywhere on this amazing Bronco, they're under the hood. The original 5.0-liter V8 is said to only have 24k original miles, but it does sport a few mods. Namely an Edelbrock carb and intake, as well as dual exhaust.

Brand New

Otherwise, good luck finding any wear that makes you believe this Bronco is as old as it is. Everything from the wheels to the tire cover to the bumper guards looks like brand new.

Undervalued

A first or second-gen Bronco in this kind of condition would easily command a ton of money on the auction circuit. But this beautiful brown rig sold for only $10,450.

On the Rise?

You have to believe that despite current trends, the values of the third-gen Broncos will inevitably rise with the tide. And one day, we bet whoever bought this one will look pretty smart for doing so.

Cool Savings

Even if you aren't a fan of the 3rd-gen Bronco's looks, it's hard to deny the appeal of this one. And we'd be more than happy to pocket the savings and drive this thing everywhere we go!
