Rear Leaf Spring Options for 54

Im looking to replace my rear leafs with stock replacements. Looking for best priced options and where to buy. Will replace rear end with an 8.8. Any advice or recommendations?

I used Posies springs on my 55.
TCI sells a leaf spring kit that is a nice set up.

Posie springs with hangers & shackles that i purchased from Mid-fifty.

I went with Posies super slide for my 54. I got them from Speedway. Simple install.

People always speak well of Posie's. Eaton Detroit Spring is also very good and can customize the springs to whatever you want. The stock springs were made for hauling and will give you a harsher ride than is needed if you are building a fun truck. Posie's or Eaton Detroit you cannot go wrong.

Do you have stock springs on the front? I have the TCI rear kit and it drops the rear end height a fair bit.

I assume that you are talking about the parabolic spring kit, I installed them a year ago and it got it way down in the back like i wanted but I ended up installing a small set of air bags because it bottomed out on the frame all the time when carrying anything in the bed and I did not want to notch the frame and then do something for diff to floor of bed clearance.

I used rear springs from a 1975 F150 in my 53 M100 resto mod with a 9'' rear axle, took a few leaves out for a much smoother ride which I'm very happy with. After the front coils cut down on the 80 Merc car front clip the front sits a bit lower that the rear, back to the planning board. Running boards are on since this picture was taken.
