Key on no start no injector buzz on start

Alright guys been a long time since I came here probably part way because truck was running great with no issues. Well up until maybe a week or two ago I felt like I had injector sticking. White smoke on startup but would clear almost instantly. Drove truck further ran some diesel injector stick additive and truck was good. Well that was until today happen when I drove to off road shop to exchange some parts when I went back to my truck to start it I got key on no start and noticed I didn't have any buzz anymore. Assuming injectors not buzzing if that is really a thing lol. So I called for a tow and about two hours later truck showed up and tow truck driver said I bet it will start. So I said maybe let me try and what would you fired up. We chatted a few minutes he said sure you don't want me to follow you or two you and I said nope its running I'll limp home. I got maybe 3 miles out hitting freeway went to throttle down going on the ramp and completely loss of power, no response to pedal, truck felt like it just shut off so I just coasted to side of the road.

Called tow guy again he said great I'm a man for my word I'll come get you. A hour or so later he towed me home and truck is sitting in my driveway area dead. Will crank over key on but still no start. Attached are a couple photos I could get with my torque app while starting it.

If it helps about two years or longer ago maybe more like three I had my FICM rebuilt do you guys think it could be that again? Not saying its right but my torque app seems to read voltages where they need to be when starting. I have read that does not mean my FICM isn't bad so I don't know.

Any helps would be great or if there is any other data you need to see let me know I can add a display to show you guys.

I wrote to the company who fixed my FICM they said as long as my FICM stayed above voltage threshold they would warranty it. Judging by what I told them which is the same to you guys they said it don't sound like my FICM.

I'm not sure if you meant you don't know how to see FICM sync, or you looked at it and it's not sync'd, but in case you didnt know how to see it: FICM sync is a PID you can monitor in Torque Pro: add it to your displays.

What are your cranking rpms?

FICM Logic Power of 10 volts is too low IMO. Maybe the FICM or maybe the FICM relay?
Who rebuilt your FICM?

Not sure on cranking RPMs do I do that with torque too? Or just from dash gauge?

Ficmfixer.com did it I was on a budget at the time and couldn't have Ed do it.

That's what I meant was how to add FICM sync to torque, as in the PID?

FICM Sync:

PID 2209cd
Min Value: 0
Max Value: 1
Scales Factor: X1
Unit Type:
Equation {A:1}
Unit header
7E0

Read the rpm from the Torque also.

It did get unusually warm the past couple days temperature wise in Washington could some sensor be getting too warm which would cause this? Assuming that means its bad to begin with but will the warm weather do this?

What will the FICM Sync tell me?

I was thinking 10 is too low as well, even when starting it. Those batteries are struggling a little

I doubt the warm weather is the culprit, and your weather isn't even that warm
FICM sync is needed in order for the truck to start. It helps to have this PID when trying to diagnose a no start. If you never get sync it won't start.
The fact you lost the injector clatter tells me it might be a bad connection or as Mark mentioned your FICM relay, which I'm guessing has never been replaced.

Take all the FICM plugs loose, or at least check them for good connections, and inspect the harness for anything obvious.

Okay I'll take it apart this weekend and check wiring. FICM relay I can replace but your right its never been replaced. I have batteries about 9 mo this old and running a Leece Neville alternator.

I have the PID now so I'll program FICM sync into torque and try that today too. Truck starts up now or was so hopefully I can still find the culprit in between it working and not working. I'll put charge on those batteries today too so I don't run them too low dropping voltage when cranking.
