Steering Column swap

Has anoyone done this? I don’t see how to reinstall the column thanks

Yes all for the OBS I was able to get it out now I can’t find where this plug goes it is on the same line hooked to the horn and cruise control plugs. Can you se where it goes on your truck.

I have no clue where this plugs in and I don’t recall unplugging this cable

That looks like something that I've seen hanging around on my truck not hooked to anything. It has more hair on it than a beaver, I'd suspect that it's for some sort of accessory if one chose to add it.

As dirty as it is, honestly, I don't think it was hooked up. I'd take a can of compressed air and then electrical cleaner to it. I can look when I get home.
Can you take another pic but further away for reference?

Thanks for the replies I haven’t been able to snap a photos Colorado but all systems except one appear to be working. And the broken one is thanks to me hitting the brake light sensor atop the brake pedal going to start a new thread for that issue. The clockspring seems to be a bit too tight as at full lock left the cable makes a noise and moves I saw with the shroud removed. I am going to unhook the shaft and try to “unwind” it to see if the problem is solved.
