Steering column swap info??

Steering column swap info??
I have a 92 f150, and the steering column is worn so the steering wheel flops all over the place. I found a 96 f250 that has basically the same column, but has an airbag, and different cruise buttons on the wheel. Can I swap my steering wheel/cruise/horn assembly onto the newer 96 column? I HAVE to have a functional cruise. Thanks for the help!!

The column will physically swap over. I put a 93 column in my 95, but I didn't have to worry about the airbag because I have a 95 F 350 and it doesn't have an airbag and neither did the 93. I would imagine you could just transfer the wiring and steering wheel from your column to the 96 column and you would be good. I can't be certain because I had no experience withe the airbag situation.
