My Dentside Projects
On the antenna mount did they come with multiple styles to use like what the 66 Mustang used because I was under the impression that they all had the 4 screw holes for the antennas.
Both my Wrecker and my Highboy cab do not have screw holes around the antenna mount. Im going to be needing an antenna for the Highboy eventually but im not going to drill any holes for it what do I get for it?

You just drill 4 small holes for the 4 screws and then snap the chrome cover on. You can use the OEM antenna base as a trmplate.
I may steal the antenna from my Super Camper for my Highboy. Company called Rugged Radios sells an antenna mount for a NMO mount VHF/UHF style antenna.\
Been planning on adding a VHF/UHF Ham radio to my Super Camper for years now maybe now is the time when I get to piecing the Highboy back together.
Normal bezel.
Bezel that then goes on after the instruemnt bezel is installed.
Blank plate I made.
You can out some aux switches in there.

6 of the 8 Dentsides ive owned have had the 4 holes around the antenna hole. Like I mentioned the Wrecker and my Highboy dont have the 4 holes.
This is the Rugged Radio mount I had mentioned in my previous post.
Chris Isenhouer is running it on his rock crawler. Looks decent enough for me although I want a taller whip for mine so ill run a different antenna hopefully one with a better looking base to it.
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
getting around to putting them onto the ol pickup. Also rotating the tires for the first time ive got 8.4k miles on it. Not sure whats a normal amount of miles.
Also lifted my mustang up to get to the U bolts so I can drop the axle and replace the leaf springs. Going to hopefully finish up tomorrow of these tomorrow
Never seen leaf springs buckle like the ones on my mustang are ill post a picture tomorrow of what they look like.
Weirdest thing ever looks like my tires have flat spots on the tread. Not sure if this is a mold defect or what.
I know ive only locked up the brakes once on it I cant imagine thats what did it. Oh well we'll send it!
Not sure how much runout the rotors are supposed to have on themselves but this seems a bit excessive if you ask me.
It likes to shutter when I brake so figured id throw a gauge on it.
Rancho is rather annoying though they provide 2 different sized collars for the bushings one for a smaller and larger bolts but dont make that apparent so I had 2 small collars I pressed into the shocks I had to redo.
Heres the reason I replaced the coils on it. Old farm fix has worked since the 70s id presume but figure its time to replace them.
Hopefully the retainer for the coil isnt to important good thing my F100 isnt a trophy truck..
Did do some precautions though in case if I were to take flight
Took it out for a test drive tonight did around 30 miles with it and man does good working shocks make one hell of a difference with handling.
This truck had the absolute worst body roll going into corners and with the new shocks it actually isnt so bad.
Need to put the hubcaps on in a little bit after I get them rinsed off. Heading down to C&C in the morning with @RPSM so the truck needs to look snazzy.
I also threw the old North Dakota license plate onto the truck that was on it when my uncle and I pulled it out of his quonset hut.
