This tint isn't dark enough to get ticket, there are all sorts of vehicles on the road that you can't even see anyone in the vehicle and they aren't being ticketed...
The cops here is Sask will give you a ticket for having any film on the side windows. It’s not the tint that is illegal it’s the film is what I’ve always been told. So far I’ve had a ticket for every vehicle I’ve ever owned lol.
I was able to get the windshield and rear window installed today, should be able to get the side glass put in by the end of the week if the glass setting tape arrives on schedule..
John, outstanding work. They do look more complete with glass in place. And I don't know if I seen your factory running boards in place with your fabricated bed running boards. Look good together.

I think these pic were posted before abe after I finished up the box..
Glass looks great. I’ve been struggling with my side windows and vent windows. The anti rattle bars tore my tint up on both windows. I even pulled them out and made sure to pinch down the clips. But still caught it. I think I may have it figured out now.
I'm still waiting for the glass setting tape to arrive ,supposed to be here by Thursday. Also waiting for the inside door handle regulator with the longer stems to arrive likely next week. Sorry I bought the new ones with the short stems a couple years ago..lol
The glass setting tape. Is it sticky or is it just to protect the glass from the metal channel? My driver window I need to redo. It keeps pulling the channel off, but the passenger side window was fine. Both of my channels we’re not in the best of shape, but they’re usable.
It has a slight stickiness to it. How I've seen it used was folded over the bottom of the glass and wiped the outer side of it with kerosene before pushing the glass in the channel. I bought the 3/64" thick tape but the glass would still slip fairly easy out of the channel so I ordered 1/16" thick tape that should be good enough....I hope...lol
I remember the tape being tacky and soft but I don't remember which thickness I used. I used a rubber mallet to set the glass in the channel with the tape and it was a snug fit.
Started it up yesterday, two or three cranks and it started. Was good to hear that exhaust again, also smell it.

Great job John. You put in an incredible amount of time and effort, and the finished project is something to be very proud of. How do you see yourself using your three restoration projects? Will they be like everyday drivers you take shopping and to the hardware store?
Maybe you need to put up a showroom and serve breakfast to your friends on Saturday mornings. The guy that re-did my seats had a set-up like that. He had a regular shop where he worked, but had another one to house his auto memorabilia collection and some beautiful finished restoration projects. He had a vintage lunch counter in his showroom with stools and little tables and chairs spread around his collections. He cooked on a wood stove. It was an experience, but I only went once, It was an hour's drive to get to his place. Once you were a satisfied customer, you were an invited quest to his breakfasts. "Built it and they will come". LOL.
