06 King Ranch Grille

Been searching for a new grill for my 06 King Ranch. I can find the Chrome with grey inserts but I can't find the chrome with Arizona beige inserts.

Can someone direct me some where? Are the inserts interchangeable? The only thing wrong with mine is the chrome is peeling off. Maybe I can change out the grey inserts with my beige inserts? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Gilbert

Color match your grill, get rid of the chrome. Take it to a paint shop and have them paint it, it will look much better. Just my .02.

Not cheap anywhere you look, 3-4 hundred. Not worth it to me. I'd get the chrome with the black or grey honeycomb and call it done.
Personally I like the monochromatic. (painted body color)

Im tempted to give it a try (monochromatic). I should be able to get the color in a spray? Any advise going that route?

Any good automotive paint supply shop should be able to put it in a spray can for you, but I'd recommend to have it sprayed by a professional. Here's a pic for ideas.

I'd get a quart and do it myself but I have experience painting. You might want to consider calling around to local shops and get a quote. They sell color match spray bombs but results will vary and with the abuse the grill takes from bugs and stones you want a quality job.
Mine came this way and have no intention of going chrome. True Blue through & through.

Looks great, but I'm partial to the True Blue.

Did you try searching on car-part.com. I did quick search and found quite a few not too far from me.

I think I'm going to paint it.

87Crew, was yours chrome and you sanded and painted? Did you remove all the chrome and paint? Can you tell me your process, please?

Thanks

Gilbert

Subscribing. My grille is bubbling up and cracking. Interested in shop costs if anyone has called around.

Sorry to disappoint but nothing was chrome on my truck except the wheel center caps (still chrome).
I'd start with the most affordable plain plastic grill and go from there. I wish I had an answer for de-chroming plastic but I don't.

No worries. The black ones run less than 60.00. Would rather buy one than have to do all that sanding and prep
